What to do if you get a scam or phishing email
If you get a scam or phishing email (or an email you suspect is such) here are the steps to take:
- Do not click on any links in the email even if they say the are to unsubscribe or otherwise stop receiving the emails.
- Report the email to the CSRs so they are aware of the email that is going around the department.
- Forward the email as an attachment to abuse@byu.edu or phishing@byu.edu.
